frequently asked questions:
1) What is Green Golf Accelerator?
Green Golf Accelerator is a five-day, Sunday night → Thursday afternoon intensive that applies Anthony-James Green’s proven rapid-learning system to golf. It focuses on fast, permanent improvement through precise diagnostics, deliberate practice, and on-course transfer—so your gains hold up on the tee, not just the range. Learn more about the entire program here.
2) Who is this for?
Intermediate golfers stuck on a plateau (contact, slice, distance, consistency)
Ambitious beginners looking for the fastest way to learn the game of golf and leave with a solid foundation in days.
Competitive amateurs who need pressure-proof decisions and routines
Busy professionals who want maximum improvement in the shortest time period possible.
There are two main tracks in Green Golf Accelerator that share the same backbone:
Golf from Scratch — for total beginners who want to build a correct foundation quickly and leave capable of playing a fast, consistent, fun round of golf.
Break Bogey Bootcamp — experienced golfers stuck on a plateau who want reliable contact, a bulletproof shortgame, and an easy path toward breaking 90 every time they play.
We’ll discuss more about your customized track during your free consultation - apply for your spot on the waiting list to set up your consult.
3) What does green golf accelerator cost?
Green Golf Accelerator is 15,000 euros for a 1-on-1, 22,000 euros for a 2-on-one, and 25,000 euros for a 3-on-1. This includes all lodging and access at one of our host resorts (currently in Marbella, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal. Cohorts will shift throughout the year and depend on weather and ideal playing conditions). You can also have Anthony come to your location for an additional 5,000 euro. Payment must be remitted in full before we start the Accelerator.
4) What results should I expect by Thursday?
Results vary by starting point, but everyone leaves with a repeatable system and objective checkpoints. To learn more about precisely what results you can expect, and which results are guaranteed, learn more about the two starting tracks:

9) How big are the groups? Will I get 1:1 time?
You’re in charge of the size of your group, which is either 1-on-1 (ideal, with guaranteed results and the most possible customization of your lessons), 2-on-1, or 3-on-1 instruction. All booked groups are capped at 3-on-1. Golfers must be in the same cohort to attend (in other words, I can teach 2-3 golfers who are all in the same handicap range and are looking to lower it similarly - I cannot teach one 8-handicapper, one 37-handicapper, and one brand new golfer at once. Players in any cohort must be at the same level. Current pricing is 15,000 euros for a single Player, 22,000 euros for two Players, and 25,000 euros for three Players.
10) How is this different from standard lessons or golf schools?
I prioritize retention and speed, not novelty. Every element of Green Golf Accelerator is meant to produce hyper customized, rapid, and permanent improvements in your golf game. I am a teacher first and a golfer second - unless the things you learn permanently alter your performance, they’re useless. Click here to learn more about how it all works, or head here to get a free copy of The Golf to Learn Method and get a more in-depth look under the hood.
11) What exactly is “The Method” you use?
A deliberate-practice framework rooted in learning science:
Diagnose the #1 constraint driving most misses
Design error-proof early reps with simple metrics
Interleave skills & space sessions for long-term memory
Randomize & add consequences to mirror on-course pressure
Lock in routines so performance is repeatable under stress

12) Can I bring a non-golfer companion?
Absolutely. Your tuition comes with unlimited access to a suite in a 5-star golf resort. If you want to bring your spouse or a friend to share your room and enjoy the resort while you attend an Accelerator, feel free! Many of our clients bring a spouse during their sessions, who can enjoy the spa, restaurants, amenities, and surrounding area while they learn.
13) What should I bring?
Your own clubs (we provide free rentals if you don’t have them or don’t feel like bringing them), golf shoes, glove, comfortable attire, and usual weather gear. We’ll provide literally everything else.
14) What are the dates and price?
Cohorts run regularly. See Dates & Rates on the booking page and Join the Waitlist for first access to new cohorts and preferential resort pricing. Currently, only a few spots are open for the winter and spring seasons.
15) can i buy the accelerator as a gift?
Absolutely. Just fill out our application and make it clear that you’re applying for someone else - we can lock down your spot and make sure that your loved one gets a world-class golf experience, while you do your own thing, attend the resort alongside them, or even join them in the Accelerator!
16) do you offer Corporate or private groups?
Yes. We offer custom intensives for teams and private groups of up to three, including executive retreats. We can slightly alter the program to address the needs of a 3-on-1 grouping and price accordingly.
17) What does a typical training day look like?
Eight hours of instruction from 9am to 5pm, split into 40–50 minutes of focused reps with clear success criteria and rest breaks in between to recover and consolidate learning. You can learn more about the daily schedules in the dedicated pages for Complete Beginners and Experienced Golfers.
18) Age & handicap range?
We welcome adult golfers across a wide spectrum—from first-timers to competitive amateurs. If you have a unique situation, reach out and we’ll advise the best track. No matter your current level of fitness, we’ll devise a program that provides plenty of recovery, rest, an rehabilitation between learning blocks to maximize your retention and make sure you leave feeling your best.
19) I’m a complete beginner. Will I slow others down?
No. Golf from Scratch is specifically designed for first-timers. You’ll only be taken on a real golf course when you’re ready to play fast, fun, consistent golf, and you’ll be guided through the entire experience to make sure that you’re always playing courteously and promptly.
20) I’m experienced and already take lessons. how is this different?
Most golfers don’t suffer from a knowledge problem; they suffer from a retention and transfer problem. We focus on the system that makes your current knowledge show up reliably on the course, and build in new knowledge that directly connects to what you already know, leading to rapid, permanent improvements. Check out the How It Works page to learn more.
21) How do you measure progress?
Baseline vs. Thursday retest (contact quality, distance, dispersion, short-game tasks, and scoring )
On-course checkpoints (targeting, routine, scoring games)
Your personal Playbook with metric targets you can keep improving after the week.
You’ll leave with objective improvements across all elements of your game, and a way to keep improving every element of your game moving forward (measurement is a key principle of improvement).
22) What’s the cancellation or transfer policy?
You’ll pay for your Accelerator in full before your cohort begins. Payment will be made after your free consultation and before your Accelerator. If you need to cancel once you’ve set your date, you can do so for a 50% fee.
23) What happens if it rains or there’s bad weather?
All of our host locations are selected and chosen to optimize weather outcomes. If it does rain, we run adapted sessions (covered bays, indoor spaces, video/decision work, short-game setups). On-course components are flexibly rescheduled within the week whenever possible to make sure playing and practice conditions are as pleasant as possible.
24) Safety & medical considerations
Please disclose any relevant medical conditions on the intake form. The resort maintains standard first-aid resources; for emergencies, local medical services are nearby.
25) Will I get a practice plan for after the program?
Yes—your Playbook includes a customized practice program, practice menus, and scoring games designed for busy schedules (15–30-45-60-120 minutes).
26) What’s the booking process?
Choose your dates & track → reserve your spot → complete a short intake (goals, current scores, swing history) → receive resort details and prep materials → arrive Sunday evening. Head to the Application Page to learn more.
27) Are meals and lodging handled by you?
Your lodging, breakfast, lunch, and snacks are all provided for. Dinners are worked out based on each Player and their needs. If you’d prefer to have dinners with your spouse/friends, we can provide concierge recommendations and preferred rates and reservations at the hotel and local partners. If you’d prefer to have dinners with your classmates (if doing a 2-on-1 or 3-on-1) or with Anthony directly, we can line that up as well!
28) Which airport should I fly into? Is transport included?
Your confirmation email lists the nearest recommended airports and ground-transfer options depending on which home base you choose. Transfers from the airport are included - airfare is not.
29) Do you do fittings?
The right equipment is essential to proper golf performance. For an additional fee, I can get you set up with a fitting partner during our sessions so that you leave on Thursday with a customized set of clubs and a perfect putter for your setup.
30) Photography & video policy
We will capture constant short checkpoint clips for your private use. With your consent, we may film limited content for educational materials. You can opt out entirely.
31) Do you guarantee I’ll break 100/90?
No absolute scores are guaranteed. What we do guarantee is a clear system with objective checkpoints and a maintenance plan that—when followed—accelerates improvement and makes it stick. You can learn more about the specific guarantees we offer on the pages for Golf from Scratch and Breaking Bogey Bootcamp.
32) How do I prepare before arriving?
Don’t you worry - I am a BIG believer in preparation when it comes to optimizing your results. We’ll send a short pre-week checklist (equipment, attire, optional baseline feels) and a quick survey to clarify your goals so we can hit the ground running Sunday evening.
